Ingredients
½cupplain Greek or strained yogurt
½cupwhipped cream cheese at room temperature
1lemonzest and juice
8ounceshot smoked salmonpicked over for bones, skin removed and discarded
2tablespoonschopped fresh chives plus additional for garnish
2tablespoonschopped fresh dill plus additional sprigs for garnish
¼teaspoonsea salt
Garnish, optional
¼cuptrout roe or caviar
Instructions
Place ½ cup whipped cream cheese, ½ cup yogurt, zest and juice from 1 lemon, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives and 2 tablespoons chopped dill in a large bowl. Mix to combine. Optionally, you can blend everything together in a food processor.
Add 8 ounces hot smoked salmon and fold in, breaking up any overly large flakes of salmon.
Taste and season with sea salt if needed.
Transfer Smoked Salmon Dip to serving bowl and garnish with chopped chives, dill sprigs, and caviar if using.
